New House Cupcakes
So I'm in the middle of a massive baking spree at the moment and like Brad said in his wedding speech, I 'make cupcakes if someone sneezes in the office' - any occassion deserves a cupcake!
These pretty little things were for my cousin Steve and his much better half Kirsten when they moved in together!

Story of 1000 Origami Cranes
According to Japanese lore, folding 1000 Origami Cranes is truly a labour of love. Tradition holds that the bride who finishes this task, called 'sembazuru', before her wedding day will be richly rewarded with a good and happy marriage. Paying homage to the majestic crane, which mates for life and is said to live one thousand years, the bride ensures the couple's good fortune.
Today, couples will fold 1,000 cranes as a wish for a long and prosperous marriage. The folding of the cranes can be done with entire families and friends, not just the bride or the one making the wish. It is believed that the more people involved, the more luck you will have!
Thank you to those of you that helped make this crazy idea a reality

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day, but these things don't come together without the help of some truly awesome people. We have thanked them personally but would like to spread the love... WE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED EVERY ONE OF THEM...
Caroline at The Whitehouse - our reception venue.
What a pleasure to work with such a wonderful person - she just wanted us to be happy and nothing was too much to ask. She and her staff really went to the ends of the earth for us.
It was the little things that made the whole set up seem less daunting - unlimited tea, coffee and muffins; staff who finished their work early so they could help us decorate; flowers from her garden and allowing us to use her wheelbarrow as our drinks trolley!
The fillet main, cooked by her lovely hubby Hans, was out of this world! And the cheese board has been dreamt of by all guests every night since!
We cant thank you enough Caroline! We'll be pimping you out to all who will listen!

Greig Lupke from Top Jocks
I think every lady at our wedding left with a crush on this lovely man! I don't think we expected half the service from a Dj that we received from Greig. We sent so few emails with our requests, must haves and definitely nots and every one of them was adhered to. He helped with our silly father daughter dance, the speech 'intros' and added a very cool twist to our first dance. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor busy until the last minute.
Thank you thank you thank you!

Paula Daniel from Paula's Kitchen
Apart from the wheelbarrow full of drinks, Brad's only request was that we had an upside down cake. We tracked down Paula who took this request in her stride. The cake turned out exactly as we had pictured it - and oh so delicious!! Thank You Paula!

Wesley and Eleanor from Grandeur Florists
One of my must-haves was loads of fresh flowers - Im not sure what we would have done if we hadn't bumped into this fabulous couple at the flower market! They really bent over backwards to help us out and willingly shared their expertise. We'd recommend them over and over again!

Bruce and Colin at Weddings & Functions
These two were an absolute pleasure to work with - My mom couldn't sing their praises enough for all their help and advice. Thank you to both of you for the superb service and for making my mom's wedding planning experience much calmer!
